The Huayhuash Trek 5 Days is a shorter yet equally stunning version of the classic Huayhuash Circuit, offering breathtaking landscapes, high-altitude passes, and spectacular glacial lakes. This trek takes you deep into the Cordillera Huayhuash, home to some of the most impressive peaks in the Andes, including Yerupajá (6,617 m / 21,709 ft), Siula Grande, and Jirishanca.
Designed for adventurers with limited time, this trek provides a challenging yet rewarding experience, crossing high-altitude passes and camping beside pristine Andean lakes while immersing in the untouched beauty of the Peruvian Andes.
We start the day at 4.30 am with the pick up from the hotels to our clients, we continue by car to the town of CHIQUIAN where we will have breakfast then we will continue by car to the base camp called CUARTELHUAIN 4180 masl, this is the point where we start the trek to the first camp called MITUCOCHA 4200 meters above sea level
We start the day at 5.30 am with the coca tea alarm clock in each personal tent then you will have an adequate time to organize your personal things then we will have breakfast then we start the 10 km hike to the second camp called CARHUACOCHA 4180 MSNM on the way we will see the largest and highest mountains of the HUAYHUASH mountain range we will also see several lagoons
After breakfast we start the 14 km hike to the third camp called HUAYHUASH 4370 meters above sea level, on the way we will see the famous glaciers SIULA GRANDE 6344 meters above sea level and Jerupaja Grande 6634 meters above sea level, also the viewpoint of the three lagoons and a series of other lagoons
After breakfast we start the 12 km hike to the fourth camp called ATUSCANCHA, a very fun place because next to the camp we will have the hot water pools, THE THERMAL BATHS of the place, we will have three hot water pools where we will have the opportunity to use them, after lunch in this place we will also have internet and drinks
After breakfast we start the 20-minute walk, where the mobility that will take us to the city of PATIVILCA awaits us, where we will change the mobility to go to LIMA or return to HUARAZ
Each day they will bring coca tea to their personal tents before each breakfast Our assistants are in charge of assembling and dismantling the tents and all the camping equipment in general
