The Huayhuash Trek 8 Days is one of the most spectacular trekking adventures in Peru, crossing the breathtaking landscapes of the Cordillera Huayhuash. We start the day at 4.20 am with the pick-up of the clients from each hotel and then go by car to the town of CHUIQUIAN where we will have time to have breakfast, then we continue by car for two and a half more hours to the base camp called CUARTELHUAIN 4180 MS
It is in this place where we start the 10 km hike to the first camp called MITUCOCHA 4200 meters above sea level
When we arrive at the camp everything will be ready to rest and then have tea time, followed by dinner
We start the day at 5.30 am we will bring you a coca tea or other hot drink to each personal tent to wake up then you will have an adequate time to organize your belongings after this we will go to the dining tent where we will have breakfast and then start our 10 km hike to the second camp called CARHUACOCHA it will be a super nice day since we will see the largest and highest mountains of the mountain range and also the camp is next to the lagoon where we can take a cool swim
After breakfast we start the 14 km hike to the third camp called HUAYHUASH 4370 MSL, it will be one of the most beautiful days since we will be able to see on the way an approximate 8 lagoons among them the famous viewpoint of the three lagoons and also the highest and most famous glaciers such as SIULA GRANDE 6344 AND JERUPAJA GRANDE 6634 and others
After breakfast we start the 12 km hike to the fourth camp called PAMPACUYOC 4450 masl it will be a short and beautiful day since it will be the day that we will be closest to the glaciers and we will cross the highest point of the mountain range 5100 masl we will see lagoons of turquoise waters it will be a great day
After breakfast we start the 21 km hike to the fifth camp called HUAYLLAPA 3500 masl it will be a super day since this point is considered as the most beautiful area of the mountain range by the mountain magazine arriving at the camp we will also have the option to take a hot shower, beds and wifi since in this place there are very cheap and good hostels
After breakfast we start the 11 km hike to the sixth camp called GASHPAPAMPA 4600 meters above sea level, a very picturesque day since on the way we can meet the peasants of the area with whom we can talk and see their day to day life of them also many very picturesque glaciers
After breakfast we start the 10 km hike to the seventh camp called JAHUACOCHA 4100 meters above sea level, it will be like the expected day since on this day we will have panoramic views of the entire mountain range, place where we will see the other side of the HUAYHUASH mountain range, we will also have the panoramic view of the JAHUACOCHA LAGOON, SOLTERA COCHA, three lagoons each one the waters of different colors arriving at the camp we will have lunch and then each Who to do what they like the most (swim in the lagoon, take a hike to other lagoons, or use the internet since there is coverage in the area)
After breakfast we start the 14 km hike to the town of LLAMAC 3300 meters above sea level, where we will take our car to return to HUARAZ where we will drop off each client at their hotels
